Installing an Apple CarPlay MMI box for my friend’s F30 BMW 335i, this DIY will work for any BMW with the NBT I-Drive. This MMI box is similar to Bimmer Tech MMI Prime in that it uses the stock iDrive to upgrade the wireless CarPlay interface on the original screen without the need for an extra Android unit.
