OK Go - Get Over It - San Francisco, Live, Stern Grove Festival Sunday 8-26-12, 1st row. Damian Kulash said the venue looked like a fantasy land forest, complete with wood nymphs hanging out in the trees in the back.. :P

Other Tidbits:

This was the final weekend in a series of free summer concerts put on by the Stern Grove Festival Association which is a non-profit committed to providing easy access to diverse performance arts. And, as chairman Doug Goldman said, ~"you can't get any more easy than free!"

Knowing that this was a concert with many families in attendance, Damian interruppted himself to ask the crowd "if 'hell' was a bad word for children these days", followed by a "wait, I'm not even sure how I'm supposed to ask that question.." He then repeated himself spelling out the word instead of saying it. Later on, Kulash said that he has probably gone as long as he has ever gone without swearing. :P

According to Damian, the confetti was a water-soluble product made of rice, which has a habit of turning into confetti dust when blown out the air cannons. He also said when it falls on you, in addition to being able to eat it, it's great for fooling women into thinking you don't have dandruff.

Kulash said that they haven't been touring a lot lately because they've been working on a new album and they recently wrote a new song. They planned on playing it, but then they realized it sounded too much like 'Skyscrapers'.. So, Damian told the crowd they're going to scrap that song and just play 'Skyscrapers'.

In the middle of 'Here It Goes Again', Kulash asked the crowd if anyone could play the guitar. He then picked out a guy to come up on stage (his name was Marcus) and proceeded to have him jam with guitarist Andy Ross while Damian continued on with the song.

All the camera people there appeared to be SFSU students who are enrolled in the Digital Video Intensive program and were shooting the concert as practice.
