The Hot Rod Showdown is a relatively new show that happens at the 7A Ranch in Wimberley, TX. This was the 4th year of this event, it features 1948 and older traditional styled hot rods and customs. The show is limited by space to about 150 cars but this year rain in the forecast (and on the day) kept some of the cars away.
I missed the reliability run on Friday due to nasty icy weather across Oklahoma and North Texas, but I was able to make the 10 hour drive down during the day on Friday.
