[임팔 전투 1화] 사상 최악의 군사작전 분석: 무타구치 렌야는 무슨 생각일까?

임팔 전투는 일본군 역사상 최악의 군사 작전으로 평가되고 있습니다. 85000명의 병사들 중 사상자만 무려 53000명이었고 이들 대부분은 기아로 사망한 아사자였습니다. 이 작전을 입안했던 무타구치 렌야 중장이 대체 무슨 생각이었고 어떤 근거를 내세워 작전을 합리화하였는지 보겠습니다. 아울러 일본군의 작전을 자세히 분석하겠습니다.
