Bibbulmun track part 16 Rame Head to Boat Harbour – Irwin Inlet crossing – thru hike end-to-end

Incredible views of the Southern Ocean as we walk along the coast, giving Howie great material for beautiful drone work. We cop some rain and a lot of wind going into Peaceful Bay, where fish and chips and a supply of wine (thanks Margaret & Rob / Mum & Dad) keep us happy for the evening. The Irwin Inlet crossing in canoes is great fun and leads to the showgrounds with kangaroos everywhere. We delight in blue sky conditions along a beach walking section, and Bob gets momentarily lost & thankfully found again.

The Bibbulmun Track is a beloved 1003km (623mile) trail in Western Australia stretching from Kalamunda to Albany. Our hike commenced in October and finished in December 2020.

We would like to pay our respect to the traditional custodians of this land - Noongar (Minang) Boodja and acknowledge elders past, present and emerging. It is a great privilege to walk on this ancient country; land which was never ceded.
