Over the past years Vectric has hosted students from high schools and universities to experience what it is like to work for a small Midlands software company. Every student gets a slightly different experience depending on what team they are interested in learning about. One thing they all have in common is shortly after they start, they create their very own CNC project from start to finish.

This project was created by a high school student that was with us for three days. Starting with watching the first getting started video, and with a little bit of help, she created this lovely tea tray. Creating a few vectors, then customizing it with her own flower design sketch it is hard to miss how easy it was to do in the software. Once the design was complete Todd checked the tooling and then helped with the CNC’ing of the finished part – safety first.
