This video covers a voice-over of a Houdini Battle community event. In a time span of 45 min I will use Houdini to build some steampunk candy. This starts with finding some reference images and then we immediately dive into Houdini to start blocking out the different sections of the candy, including gears, candy sugar syrup with a flip fluid simulation, a twisting and bending candy cane and some gears sprinkled on top.

This was an intense contest and lots of fun to participate in. We will be looking to organize new battles in the future. I hope it was as entertaining to watch as it was for me to take part in the event.
