Whether you have the standard radio or the optional nav radio, the removal and replacement process is the same. However, if you replace the Corvette C6 Stock Radio. You will lose the Nav interface with the HUD, but not the HUD itself.

HUD is not a standard equipment. It comes as part of the 3LT equipment group. 1LT (base) and 2LT PEG's do not have the HUD as included equipment. It is also not available currently as a stand alone option.

The HUD cars come with a different windshield. The HUD glass has an extra layer of reflective material samwhiched between the two layers of glass. The HUD windshield also has a slight taper to it, it is .3mm thicker at the base of the windshield and tapers off just above the top of the HUD. This taper allows for the focal point of the HUD to be where the designers wanted it.

There is a $3,010.00 price difference between the 2LT and the 3LT coupe. In addition to the HUD it adds a 6 disc in dash changer standard, heated seats, memory personalization option, telescoping steering column and steering wheel audio controls.
