See an innovative solar farm under construction

On the first day of spring, 2023, RenuWell Energy Solutions flipped the switch on two pilot projects in the Municipal District of Taber. Partially funded by the Government of Alberta through the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre and Alberta Innovates, the pilot projects demonstrate an innovative approach to solar power development.

RenuWell has the potential to cut the remediation costs for abandoned oil and gas wells, as well as protect valuable agricultural land in Southern Alberta. Learn more about the RenuWell approach while watching the Fincastle pilot project come to life in this video.
