Edit: So I say that this can hold an entire battalion I meant company! The dropship bay has seats for 160 troops which is slightly larger than a US Army company size. A battalion-sized force would be like 3-4 dropships worth if I didn't fill the center vehicle ramp. My bad for the error!

This is a model I did of the Ground Control 1 Dropship that the Craven Corporation utilizes to drop its troops on the surfaces of planets.

I named this dropship the Terra Nova Heavy Dropship due to the actual dropship not having an official name.

The Terra Nova is utilized by the Terran Confederation as a mass deployment dropship for personnel, vehicles, and equipment. The dropship was created in response to the need for a rapid deployment platform that can carry vehicles as well as personnel into a combat zone. The dropship has a crew consisting of 2 pilots and 1 loadmaster. Given the size of the dropship, it can only be deployed from Carriers or Assault ships with the only exception being cruisers albeit sacrificing space for other combat craft. The Terra Nova can come in several configurations including:

Standard: 2 Troop Deployment Ramps, 1 center Vehicle/equipment ramp

Vehicle Deployment: 3 vehicle/equipment ramps

Equipment Deployment: 3 Special equipment ramps

The civilian version of the vehicle is used to transport various equipment such as colony construction materials, personnel, and drilling equipment. Mercenaries utilize the dropship for the same reason the military does.
