43] GLITTER and METALLICS in RESIN - Fun, NEAT Mix & Pour Technique

I wanted to do a series of sparkly resin pieces so first I needed to do a test to see how resin mixed with mica powders will layer over, or under, resin mixed with glitter. See how they interact and see my neat and simple way to mix and apply resin to a fluid painting.

▪️Ziplock bags are available in just about any size you need... For this small canvas, I used 1x2" and 1.5"X1.5" bags. Typical sizes are also 2x2", 2x3", 3x5". If you need larger quantities, using a cup might be as easy or easier.

This was done on a 5" x 7" inch canvas panel and utilized about 50 ml of resin (more than necessary, I wanted extra just for the test.)
