This video covers the process of making a kitchen utensil rack. I used a block of Walnut for the project material. The block and pegs were all made from the block of Walnut.

A lot of methods went into the making of this rack. Turning down a blank into the pegs is not totally necessary, however, I wanted to have the pegs and the block be constructed from the same material.

The Key-Hole Slot Cutter is also know as a "T-Track" cutter.

Standard wood glue was used to fasten the pegs into the blocks, and boiled linseed oil was rubbed over all surfaces. No stain was used, as the natural color and grain of the wood suits it just fine when covered with linseed oil.

As stated in the end, the rack pictured on the wall was my first run at the project. This video covers essentially the same processes I followed making the first rack. The only difference is the measurements for the pegs.
