This 1972 Dodge Demon 340 was delivered new to Mr. Norm’s Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago, Illinois, and was the subject of a four-year refurbishment following the seller’s acquisition of the car out of Iowa in 2018. The replacement 340ci V8 was rebuilt and features three Holley two-barrel carburetors as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads. The body was stripped and repaired before a repaint in orange, and the black graphics and vinyl roof covering were replaced. The interior was retrimmed in black, and a RetroSound head unit was added. A QA1 front suspension was installed along with power-assisted front disc brakes, and additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, a hood scoop, a rear wing, Rallye-style 14” wheels, and a dual exhaust system with long-tube headers and an X-pipe.
