The Snake Pit ("Fingered," 1988)

Описание к видео The Snake Pit ("Fingered," 1988)

Marty Nation and Lydia Lunch visit Pete Haskell in the Snake Pit. From "Fingered" (1988), a short film by Richard Kern.

Kern had a deep interest in the aesthetics of extreme sex, violence and perversion and was involved in the Cinema of Transgression movement. Most of the scenes were shot in one take, which put the actors into a gonzo mood. When Lunch and Nation race away from the Snake Pit, Haskell improvised one of the film’s many memorable images. He grabbed the front bumper of the car as it reversed and allowed it to drag him out the driveway.
