Courtenay Lyons has served as Director of Development for OpenTheBooks since 2020. Courtenay has over 10 years of experience in philanthropy. She most recently served as a consultant at CCS Fundraising, working with several leading nonprofit institutions in the greater New York area. Before CCS, she spearheaded donor strategy and communications for the Thomas Jefferson Foundation (Monticello). Courtenay graduated from the University of Virginia, majoring in American Politics.
