There's something so thrilling about feeling like your skills are catching up to the vision you have of your character 🙌

Alyx (lineart): I'm proud of this drawing for many reasons. For one, I had the vision of exactly how I wanted it to look right away, which rarely happens for me. Second, I feel like the pose, ambience, expression, and details represent this character, Sueky, so very well. Third, I love Sueky's ability and it was so much fun to draw.
Chelsey (color): As an Aries, I usually jump into projects headfirst but it's amazing how things really come together when I spend the time to actually watch tutorials instead of struggling through on my own... Thank you!! to ‪@samdoesarts‬ for his shading and lighting tutorials. And what an amazing opportunity I get to color my characters and bring Alyx's drawings to life. Coloring this piece was the first time I felt like my skillset was starting to shine a light on Alyx's skills.
