Juventus is the Italian team with the biggest salary expenditure this season. The Bianconeri's wage bill outperforms other top teams such as Inter Milan and AC Milan.
Italian media, Tuttomercatoweb, analyzed the salary bills of 20 Italian League teams 2023/2024. The results show a big gap between the clubs at the top and the teams at the bottom of the standings.
Juventus topped the list with a wage bill of 74.1 million euros. This figure is slightly higher than the wages of the Old Lady's rival club, Inter Milan (71.7 million euros).
AS Roma is in third place with player wages reaching 68.6 million euros. AC Milan is behind with 60.2 million euros, followed by Lazio (44.7 million euros) and Napoli (44.4 million euros).
Clubs outside the top 10 fill the bottom of the list in Tuttomercatoweb's analysis. Frosinone, currently in 12th place in the Serie A standings, only has a salary bill of 11.5 million euros, while Lecce is bottom with 9.8 million euros.
