In the live-streamed and recorded session of the "Non-technical Project Seminar" for our master students in the "Electrical Engineering and Information Technology" program at the Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg, I gave a guest lecture on how to give effective presentations. I this talk, I covered how to effectively reach your audience, how to structure your presentation, how to create useful slides and how to visualize your data. During the talk, we also discussed good and bad examples as well as the most common mistakes and how they can be avoided. We also looked on how to improve the audio and video quality in online talks or hybrid presentations.
