On each viewing they would still have great enjoyment. With these type of movies a person may even notice deeper layers of meaning in subsequent views.

Not all movies were meant to be deep and offer meaning as well as entertainment. For pure joy, cheese, uniqueness or an all round entertainment spectacle some movies more represent this end of the market. These movies too can be movies a person would go back to several times but more to relive the moments of the film which are pure spectacle.

The Oscars is largely out of touch and as an avid fan of Film I feel the movies rewarded in the modern era bear no resemblance to the general movie going audience.

The Movies shown in this video are a better representation of the cinema/DVD market audience's opinion and perhaps a few ones you have not heard of but would be pleasantly surprised to see.
