Edward Cagney Matthews of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, has gone viral on social media after his racist rant was caught on video.

Sharon Reed and Mike Hill, hosts of "Start Your Day" discuss the video and the community's response. Matthews was captured on camera yelling racial slurs in his community to an interracial couple. He referred to them as "monkeys" and used the N-word several times. During the racist rant, he also publicly yelled out his address and told people to show up if they had a problem with his words. Members of the Black community in Mount Laurel and surrounding areas showed up outside his home to protest. Matthews was later arrested and charged with harassment and bias intimidation.
