This is the second video in the complete training in screencast-o-matic sessions. screencast-o-matic is a great Screencast technology and the free tool is very very effective and you can create videos of up to 15 minutes. You can create Screencast videos with webcam or without a webcam. In fact you don't even need to create an account to produce a basic video. You can create a video and then save it onto your computer or upload it onto your YouTube account. The first video in this two-part series Focuses on some of the basic functionality. So it looks at using the recorder to create a video and save it onto your computer. You will also see an example of how you can create a video and then save it on your YouTube channel.

In this second video we look at some of the more advanced features when working with screencast-o-matic. screencast-o-matic is a great tool if you are blending your learning or flipping your learning because you can create learning content that your students can access easily. You will see that screencast-o-matic is widely used in university and Secondary Education. The advanced features that we focus on in this second video include creating a video and adding it up onto your Google Drive. in the video I will take you through the complete process from creating the video to connect into your Google account and then saving your video on Google Drive. Google Drive is a great place to save your videos because you can actually save up to 15 GB bytes of videos on your Google Drive account.

One of the most interesting things about screencast-o-matic is that if you create an account using your email account and you actually have access to additional features. So for example it is possible to use image capture when working with screencast-o-matic. so you can image capture an image and then you can add additional features to the image including text ,arrows,shapes etc. Screencast-o-matic is a great tool if you want to do some basic imaging editing and enhance your images. You can also do screen capture. When you work with an account it means you have a place where you can save your videos and organise them into folders. You can also save your videos onto the screencast-o-matic account and then organise them into channels. Channels are a great way of working with screencast video because it means that you can create a whole group of videos around one topic and then give access to the students to the complete channel. Not only that but it is also possible to create a password for your screencast videos. This way students cannot access your videos and less they use the password.

Screencast-o-matic is one of the best free screencast technologies available on the market which allows you to create videos of up to 15 minutes with or without your webcam. if you sign up to an account and make better use of the affordances that screencast-o-matic provide then you really can use this tool in many different ways even the account is free.
