Congress set aside $14.25 billion fund of the $30.75 billion allotted to the Education Stabilization Fund through the CARES Act for the Higher Education Emergency Fund (HEERF).

If you’re a college student or know someone who is, you’ll way to pay close attention to the details in this video as you could be eligible for $3000 or more in aid.

There are roughly 20 million student in the United States, most of these students were not eligible for $1200 stimulus payments as most of these students are probably claimed as dependents on their parents tax returns.

Colleges have received guidance as of April 21 so contact your college to find out their procedures. Expect that it is first come first serve.
