HETA provide specialist training for young people in the Humber, who are looking to join the world of engineering through an apprenticeship route.

In all companies that manufacture, whether they make an engineering product or produce food, chemicals, paper, clothes or provide a service for the Docks, Water Boards or Hospitals, they use machinery and equipment which is powered by electricity.

This kind of job demands the ability to think logically and develop the mental process of fault
finding. Some theoretical aspects are also involved in the work and entrants should have acquired
a good mathematical and science background at school or college.
