By far my most dragged completion, but somehow I finally did it, after having Bloodlust as my hardest for around 9 months! I started playing this level around July of last year, and it was extremely fun to learn. But as I kept playing from 0 for longer and longer, my enjoyment started to decline. So much so that I was just forcing myself to play the level everyday and didn't really feel like playing it. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and ended up dropping the level with 94%x2 as my best from 0 and 26-100%x12 (I think).
My plan was to ladder back up to it and do the RGB in the meantime, which I kind of did but without Sonic Wave and with some other levels that I didn't originally intend on beating yet. But finally I returned to it for my 50th extreme demon, and somehow RobTop finally implemented his version of CBF (or CBS ig lol) just right before I started playing it again! Apparently it must make a pretty big difference even for lower-end list demons, because I was starting to get consistent at the level again FAST. Like so fast that I beat it on my second proper session back to the level after all this time.
Anyways, not sure if anyone is actually going to read through all of that, but there's the summary of my experience with Shimmer.

My Placement Opinion: All I can say is DEFINITELY harder than Bloodlust.
