The Semifinals are on and in Europe we competed at the French Throwdown. Semifinals serve as the last stage to qualify athletes for the CrossFit Games. It was a three-day Live competiton in Lyon, France. From Europe only the best 10 athletes qualify for the CrossFit games.

I came into the weekend confident and feeling good after having the best possible start for the season. However things quickly took a turn on the first day of competition when I completely sandbagged the first event and felt far from normal. Same theme continued for day 2 as I underperformed on events 2&3. I got myself together for day-3 and managed to get 3 solid performances but unfortunately was too far from the cutline and finished the competition in 13th place and missed qualifying for my 10th CrossFit Games this year.
