Developed by Sergey Sergeich and Sometimes You, 35MM is true and true walking sim. Your objective, from the get go, is to walk around, (with a very slow companion), and take pictures. From there, that's the whole premise of the game.
I enjoy the idea, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired, especially the fact that, for a game based on the act of taking pictures, you don't seem to do much of it, or to have any control over that mechanic, which is rather unfortunate.
I can recommend it at a discount and only if you know exactly what you're getting into; a slow walking sim where the story unfolds even slower.
