Prof. Maja Pantic: Human-centered Computing

Описание к видео Prof. Maja Pantic: Human-centered Computing

A widely-accepted prediction is that computing will move to the background, weaving itself into the fabric of our everyday living spaces and projecting the human user into the foreground. To realise this prediction, next-generation computing should develop anticipatory user interfaces that are human-centered, built for humans, and based on naturally occurring multimodal human behaviour such as affective and social signalling.

Presented by Professor Maja Pantic, Professor of Affective and Behavioural Computing, Imperial College London

Recorded on Friday 11 May 2012 at the Informatics Forum, The University of Edinburgh.

The Turing Research Symposium was organised by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh School of Informatics in partnership with SICSA and supported by Cambridge University Press.
