I Had a Need to Be on the Mountain Today

TRAILS CLOSE TO HOME. We all have trails close to home that we enjoy and are our favorites. I decided to make a series with that title. Show casing the trails that I consider to be some of the great ones locally here in Colorado and Wyoming. This horse back adventure is in and area close to Blanca Peak a 14000 ft peak in southern Colorado. The trails are in higher mountain terrain with aspen grooves which I enjoy riding in a lot. A friend and decided that we needed to be in the mountains one day last fall and we went. And we were glad we did. It was a little cold, a little windy but very enjoyable.
