At the beginning of this video I baked Baklava (Turkish sweet) for the first time.
Then I made a Fall Decoration with dry wheat 🌾.
This week we brought the kids to a zoo.
At the end of the vlog I studied English language.

Baklava Recipe :

Ingredients:
1 package of dough for baklava

2 cups of chopped walnuts

2 tsp cardamom powder

3 tablespoons of powdered sugar

1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder

Ingredients for syrup:
2 glasses of sugar

A glass of water

Half a glass of rose water

Some cardamom and saffron

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Preparation steps:

1 - First, prepare the syrup.mix sugar and water , pour it into a small pot and put it on a low heat.

Do not mix the first few minutes until it’s boiling.
then when it starts to boil around, clean the bowl regularly with a brush of water and lemon , and start stirring with a wooden spoon so that it does not stick to the bottom of the bowl. When the sugar is completely dissolved, add saffron, rose water and cardamom seeds, and then add the lemon juice . Just be careful, it foams when you add the juice. Be careful not to overflow.

After a few boils turn off the syrup.

if you don't like rose water,Add a little vanilla at the end.

Note: Be sure to clean the area around the container regularly with a brush dipped in lemon juice and a little water when the sugar is boiling.

2- Baklava - Cut the prepared baklava dough in small parts.

I applied three layers of dough on top of each other and layer upon layer of melted butter.

Inside, there is a mixture of walnuts, or almonds, pistachios and a little cinnamon powder, powdered sugar and cardamom powder.
it rolled along with a wooden skewer.
I pressed and wrinkled the dough on the skewer. I put it in a Steel tray and spread butter on the baklavas and baked it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 30 minutes. I like it crispy, if you like it softer, 20 minute of cooking is enough.

3- I took out of the oven and poured the mild saffron bar syrup on the hot baklavas. I decorated it with a little chopped walnuts . After a few hours and a day later, it settled and it is better. I used special dough for baklavas.

🌾Fall is coming and I started to making fall decoration for my house .
In this vlog I made a frame with dry wheat .
You can do this frame with every dried flower that you have at home .

🌾I took time to study a little language. Improving my skills gives me a sense of self-esteem. I have a bachelor's degree in English translation. I haven't studied since 9 years ago and I forgot all the things I had learned. Now that the children are a bit older and I have learned to dedicate time to myself, I can start studying.
