Giò - Dầu Cháo - Chéo Quảy - Quẩy, Youtiao, Phatongko, Cakwe, Cruller, Stick Doughnut, donut, ... là tên cho món bánh Quẩy này.

Công Thức - Recipe:
Nguyên Liệu - Ingredients
200 g bột mì đa dụng - All purpose flour King Arthur
1/2 tsp bột nở chậm - Double Acting Baking Powder
1/2 men nở nhanh - Instant Dry Yeast
130 ml sữa tươi hoặc nước lạnh - Whole milk or water
1 Tbsp dầu ăn - Cooking oil
1/2 tsp đường - Sugar
1/2 tsp muối - Salt
Cooking oil for deep frying

Direction Notes:

1/ Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl
2/ Knead with hands for 10 minutes, make a ball and cover with plastic wrap. If you knead less than 10', let the dough rest for 30', then knead again about 2-3'.
3/ Proof the dough in IP, Yogurt - LESS for 2 hrs. Turn OFF IP, let the dough in IP for 1 more hour. Room temperature takes longer time to proof the dough double in size.
4/ Divide the dough into 2 portion. Flatten each one into a rectangle shape 10cm x 18cm .
5/ Cut each sheet into 8 strips. Moisten with brush or chopstick on 8 strips.
6/ Lay one strip on the top off the moisturized strip. Press the center, lengthwise with a skewer to stick them together.
7/ Fry with IP MORE or any other pot / pan at 360 - 365 °F.
