Welcome to exclusive video on GIli Islands, Indonesia's best kept secret party paradise. I would be releasing 2 series of videos about Gili Islands, to do things, and the exploring the enchanting underwater life with adventure activities.



In the first video, you will get to see a glimpse of the island, the things to see and must do activities. Gili Islands are an archipelago of three amazing islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno & Gili Air.



Closely situated from one another, each of the island have their own charm. For adventure souls & party goers, the Gili Trawangan island is mostly preferred. For romantic honeymoon & couple vacations, the locals suggest Gili Air island. However, explore and find out your preferred choice of island. I opted to go for Gili Trawangan Island for my vacation.



If you're traveling Bali, don't miss to reserve at least 2 days for the Gili Islands. Gili Islands can be accessed by fast boats, which offer excellent connectivity to Bali & Lombok (the nearest international airport from Gili). Many private fast boats company operate & i would advise to plan your reservation in advance and book your tickets for the journey to Gili. During peak season, it is difficult to get a ticket on the fast boat. So dont sabotage your perfect vacation plans, book tickets in advance !



Bali to Gili Islands :
Multiple boat services offer transport option from Bali main island to all the Gili Islands. Board your reserved fast boat at 'Padang Bai' port in the Bali main islands. This is located around 39kms from Ubud. Many of the companies offer complementary hotel pickup service, so dont hesitate to check with your boat service while reserving. The journey time from Padang Bai to Gili Islands is around 2 hrs- 2.5hrs (depending on your destination).The fast boats offer comfortable seating arrangement with in house drinks & snacks service. Explore the rooftop to soak in the sun and immerse in the vastness of the sea. The rooftop offers music & chilled beer to enjoy your fast ride. In case you've sea sickness, avoid rooftop since you can experience rough turbulence & heavy winds on the way. Sit back comfortably in your seats and enjoy a movie.



Lombok to Gili Islands :

In case you're planning for an exclusive trip to Gili Islands, then reseve your flights to 'Lombok', which is the nearest international airport to the Gili Islands. Many private fast boats services are available to transfer to any of the Gili Islands. This transfer is relatively shorter than the Bali transfer.



Once arrived at Gili Islands, settle & rent a cycle to cover in and around the island. Gili Trawangan is a small island with circumference of around 6 kms, which can be covered by a cycle, or walking. The entire island is amazing with very lively pubs and hotels around the entire island.



Do immerse in the numerous activities around the island. Do try the sea facing global cuisines, offered in most of the western restaurants, also try out the local Indonesian cuisines.



The sunset over the ocean is also a breathtaking experience. Ensure you reach the western side of the island before the sunset and witness the amazing crimson skies as the sun hides behind the vast ocean.



As the darkness falls, the island turns into a partying paradise with a hoard of activities like open theater movie screening, live music, rock band, local Balinese dance, fire dance, open pubs and many more things ! Do experience each these. Pubs and discotheques are open till late nights.



For money exchange, it would be advisable to plan your budget in advance and carry sufficient IDR currencies for your stay. Most of the places take only cash. In case of any need, there are numerous FOREX and ATMs around the island, offering good exchange rates.Plan for your next dream trip and enjoy the video.
