MERYL from Edinburgh, Scotland was born with achondroplasia - a form of dwarfism, and at 25 years old, she stands at just over 4 foot tall. When it comes to dating, Meryl admits she hasn’t put herself out there in that way. Her experiences with dating apps were not positive and she didn’t want to make herself a laughing stock. Because of this, this is Meryl’s first ever date. However, this doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's looking for in a potential partner. Meryl told Truly: “People always say 'Oh my God, are you going to marry someone little like you' and I’m like no, I’m not going to get into a relationship with someone just because they are little. That's like saying someone with brown hair can only go with someone with brown hair." She added: “I want people to get to know me as a person without actually making preconceptions about me." After just buying her first house, and settling in with her two pomeranians, Meryl is ready to take the next step in her life and have her first date...
