You may have noticed the boom in San Diego of "dockless bike sharing." You can unlock and ride the brightly colored bikes with a smartphone app. Their explosion in popularity has caused some tensions with a few business districts, who say the bikes are a nuisance. The Little Italy Association has taken matters into its own hands, removing dozens of bikes from the neighborhood's commercial core and placing them side-by-side on a single sidewalk.
