Punjab Police Arrest Khalistani Operatives Linked to Canada-Based Extremist Arsh Dalla in Gwalior

In a major crackdown, Punjab Police arrested two operatives connected to Canada-based Khalistani extremist Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, for the murder of a parolee in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The suspects, Navjot Singh (Neetu) and Anmolpreet Singh (Vishal), allegedly carried out a targeted killing in Gwalior's Dabra area. Gwalior Police revealed that Satpal, the brother of Sukhvinder—a man previously killed by the parolee, Jaswant Singh Gill—reportedly hired the suspects from Canada.

This joint operation by Punjab's SSOC Mohali, Anti-Gangster Task Force, and Faridkot Police averted another potential hit in Punjab, seizing sophisticated weapons from the accused. Arsh Dalla, previously designated a terrorist by India, is also under scrutiny for terror financing and targeted killings, with reports indicating his recent detention in Canada.

This arrest follows Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s recent acknowledgment of Khalistani groups’ presence in Canada, intensifying the spotlight on Khalistani extremism's cross-border impact.
