Part one of a look at and modifications to the USA Trains Rotary Snowplow in 1:22.5 scale. (G Scale)

USA Trains came out with this Rotary as a fun functional rotary snowplow. This one is painted Denver and Rio Grande Western OM, but USA Trains offered it in other paint jobs. Not intended to be any real prototype, it's actually just one of their MOW boxcars with a rotary blade added.

We are modifying it quite a bit. This week we are simply pulling it out, adding the grabs, and running it around. In a future show, we will be converting it to run on a rechargeable battery, adding a tender made from a Delton C-16 tender, and adding some scratch-built bits and pieces.

We are in a bit of a rush... it's supposed to snow in two days!!!
