China has hit back at Washington after Donald Trump claimed PM Modi agreed to halt Russian oil imports and vowed to pressure Beijing next. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian slammed the U.S. for “economic coercion” and “unilateral bullying,” warning that such moves undermine global trade rules and supply chain security. As tensions rise, China also fired back at U.S. sanctions on its refiners and accusations of cyberattacks and espionage. Beijing urged Washington to resolve disputes through “dialogue and mutual respect” instead of “pressure, threats, and intimidation.”
