QK65 v2 Classic Typing Sounds — Gateron Snow Rabbit (Foam & No Foam Comparison)

Описание к видео QK65 v2 Classic Typing Sounds — Gateron Snow Rabbit (Foam & No Foam Comparison)

I’m actually very impressed with the looks of this v2. QwertyKeys improved it a lot, I used to hate the v1. This a very pretty board, I like the front look. The build experience is very nice as well, the clip implementation for the case & the pogo pin connector does come in handy.

For this build, I actually like it more with top mount. But the client wanted to use gasket mount cause It’s softer.

I feel like with this config, without the case foam It’s pretty okay. But the alphas are kinda thin for my liking. So I decided to put in the case foam, cause I saw the case foam was thin enough. As long as It doesn’t make the board sound foamy, I don’t mind using the foam and it sounds more fuller with the case foam.

But do please let me know If you guys prefer it with or without the case foam.

It’s just a personal preference but, I think I prefer pairing the gasket mount with a long pole like Gateron Sea Salt Smoothie, Gateron Raw or maybe Kailh BCP to balance out the softness of the gasket.

Big thanks to the client for trusting me with building this board.
