MEGA MAN X2 | SHORYUKEN (Dragon Punch) SECRET GUIDE

Here's how to get the Shoryuken in Mega Man X2! It's not too difficult if you know what to do, you just need at least 1 subtank and the arm upgrade you find in Wheel Gator's level.

From there, get to stage 3 of the X-hunter base; Agile's level. Make your way up the elevator section. Past that you'll see a ladder you can't reach, so lure some bats over and freeze them with the crystal hunter to use them as stepping stones to climb up.

From here it's probably best just to watch the video, but the main thing is that you have to use the Speed burner's charge attack to cross some dangerous spiked areas. Get through that, make sure you have full health (use a sub tank) and slide down the left-hand side wall until you find a secret area!

If you don't have full health, there will be nothing there, but if you do then a light capsule will greet you. Enter it and you'll get the secret Shoryuken attack!

SHORYUKEN = FORWARD, DOWN, DOWN-FORWARD + ATTACK

I illustrate it better in the video, but you have to do the fighting game motion from street fighter in order to perform this attack, and you need full health!
