Lets fly to Brazil!
So today is the day I am going to Brazil and I had a direct flight from JFK in New York to GiG Rio de jainero Brazil. I gotta say when I fly i expect the least so the fact they gave two meals, headphones and an eye mask was great. But I really should raise my expectations. why was I ok with nothing? We should expect more from airlines. Plane tickets are not cheap, even the cheap ones. They are some of the most expensive parts of your trip. My seat was in the exit row which was great but the reason that it wasn't extra is because it was right next to the bathroom. My neighbor Ronaldo and I hit it off immediately he was very friendly and we talked for around two hours. He moved from the US to New Jersey when he was 6 and had been to Brazil many times and we had a great conversation. Flight neighbors are hit or miss. That isn't to say people aren't nice just sometimes you become best friends and sometimes you watch 3 movies and don't say a word. Nothing wrong with either but being a solo traveler I am here to meet as many people as possible. I will have a video about different ways to meet people. The descent into Rio was gorgeous and am so excited to be here now. I am going to be in brazil for 3 months and am excited to share my experiences and what I learned with you!
