This video will show you how to program your LUX LCD multi-cooker to sous vide using the Flex Function’s Temperature Setting. On average, most sous vide recipes call for cooking temperatures between 120°F to about 180°F. Follow the steps in this video, all you need to know is the temperature required and the cooking time.

Before you begin, you will need clips and vacuum or freezer bags.

Set the time and temperature according to your recipe and press the Start/Stop button to begin heating the cooker.

While the unit preheats, season your food according to your recipe and place it in your bags. Remove as much air as possible from the bags before sealing them.

Clip the bags to the Y-shaped attachment on the underside of the lid. One bag per metal rod will produce optimal results.

Once the cooker temperature builds entirely, the preheating bar will disappear, the preheating callout will change to the cooking callout, and the cooking time will start counting down. You can now place your bags into the pot by placing the lid on the cooker.

Make sure that the regulator knob is set to the STEAM position.

After the cooking time ends, the cooker will automatically switch back to standby mode. You can now carefully lift the lid to remove the bags of food.

Carefully unclip the bags from the metal rods. Some recipes may require higher temperatures; always use caution when touching the clips and bags after cooking.
