Sumburgh Head Lighthouse Hike, Shetland, Scotland |

We wanted to see Puffins and Puffins we got! The Puffins were on the island for their annual mating and Pufflet raising on Sumburgh Head on the Mainland of Shetland Islands. From the parking lot, it was a short hike up to Sumburgh Head Lighthouse and on the south side of the rock was hundreds of Puffins and other sea birds. We stopped in at the gift shop and the small restaurant called the Unken Kaffee where we enjoyed some coffee and some delicious tomato soup and toast.

The views were spectacular and the Puffins were quite photogenic. This a must see when you visit Shetland Islands.
