A shocking case of sexual harassment has emerged at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, raising serious concerns over passenger safety and misuse of authority.
A South Korean traveller, Kim Sung Kyung, alleges that an airport staffer, Affan Ahmed of Air India SATS, conducted an unauthorised body check and touched her inappropriately under the guise of a security inspection.
The survivor approached Singapore Airlines staff, who confirmed that the check was abnormal and assisted her in filing a complaint. The accused was detained by airport security, with CCTV footage supporting her account.Affan Ahmed has been arrested and terminated from Air India SATS. Police have registered a case under Section 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the investigation is ongoing.
