The New Jersey Hi-Railers Model Train Club is closing its doors....at least, temporarily. It is in search of a new location in New Jersey, close enough to NYC but large enough to house its entire collection and cost-effective enough to keep the spirit alive. March 2025 is its tentative last month at its current location in Paterson, NJ due to inclement weather the previous month preventing many people from visiting safely.

Here is a clip of an 8-car Chicago Transit Authority 3200-series car on the subway model layout. Two of these cars, wrapped in yellow, are part of a limited-edition version of the CTA 3200s that MTH have sold to the public.

The New Jersey Hi-Railers Model Train Club has the largest O-Scale Model railroading layout in the United States, with a combined subway and railroad layout that is roughly 185 feet long. This is the largest subway-dominant model railroad layout anywhere in the world, with members from the Greater New York Area showcasing a priceless collection of special-edition, limited-run, extremely rare, and custom-built subway car models.
