Meet the best-selling fiction author, Ms Anita Krishan

Ms. Anita Krishan is one the best-selling authors of India. She is also a poet, a nature lover and a columnist. She was born and brought up in the hills. She has been an eminent academician with over 25 years of experience. She is a senior columnist with The Indian Economist.

She was born in Shimla in 1955 and spent over two decades of memorable life in this beautiful town. Ms. Krishan has always been concerned about the social and environmental issues and this clearly reflects in her writings. Her first book 'Runing Up The Hill' was published in 2007 followed by 'Tears of Jhelum' in 2014. Her books 'Ghosts of the Silent Hills' and 'Ghosts in the Dark Silence' have been very popular.
