In this series we have been tracing the unfolding Tyranid invasion of a fringe imperial planet. Prior episodes covered the vanguard and early assault phases of the attack. Now we have reached the culmination of the Hive Mind's campaign with an assault upon the planet's Hive Cities. Here we cover the nature of the urban landscape and the character of the Imperial Guard defenses. We then introduce the new bioforms which the Great Devourer must deploy to overcome this most formidbale threat. These new organisms include Tyrannofexes, Hierophants, and the dreaded Dimachaeron.
