I have never dyed any angora fiber before, but let's give it a go by hand painted with some Rit Liquid dyes! We will dye KnitPicks Bare Hare Yarn http://shrsl.com/1bv1q with three colors to resemble the light of a Chanukiah (Menorah) shimmering in a dark room. (Affiliate Link)

KnitPicks Bare Hare http://shrsl.com/1bv1q (Affiliate Link) is 80% wool, 20% angora and is sold in 50 g balls.

[0:00] Introduction
Presoak in 12 cups water + 1/2 cup white vinegar for at least 20 min
[1:16] Mixing the dyes: Black - not diluted. Pink and Teal: 1/2 cup water + 1 Tablespoon dye + 1/4 cup water
[3:21] hand painting the yarn
Dilute the black with a bit of water
[13:06] timelapse (800%) Featuring "Now Breathe" by Free Parking Band
[15:01] ALmost out of black
[17:32] Preparing to steam the yarn. Steam on the stove top for 40 min.
[19:26] Unwrapping the steamed yarn
[20:12] Washing the yarn
[23:41] The finished dry yarn and conclusions
