When everything else is snowed in around Colorado, and you don't want to go skiing, the Grand Hogback in Rifle, Colorado is a perfect option, right off of the I70 corridor. The trail work that has gone into this place recently is impressive, and the local passion is highly evident. Jump in the train with Sarah Rawley as we sample a bit of everything the Hogback has to offer. We even left out bikes and hiked up to the arch to check it out. If you are looking for some South facing trails, in a desperate attempt to escape winter and ride on dirt, this place is perfect for a few hours of shreddy enjoyment. Kudos to the locals and trail builders for putting in work!!!!!! We see what you are doing and appreciate it greatly.

Sarah Rawley was riding her Yeti SB120 and I was aboard my new Yeti SB160 with Flight Attendant. If I visit again, I would say that the little bike is the correct call, and while 160 is overkill, it did surprisingly well with the added pedaling platform courtesy of Flight Attendant, that saucy stewardess that always knows what my suspension should be doing. Technology is amazing.
