يا غافر الذنب انا العبد الذليل الحقير
وقفت في باب عفوك طالب المغفرة
O Forgiver of sins, I am the humble and lowly servant
I stood at the door of Your pardon, seeking forgiveness
​
وجيت يا الله ودمعي من عيوني غزير
ادعي و من لي سواك ادعيه واستغفره
I have come, O Allah, with tears flowing profusely from my eyes
Supplicating, for who do I have but You to call upon and seek pardon from?
​
اغفر ذنوبي فانا يا الله ذنوبي كثير
و لا ظهر من عيوبي اي عيب استره
Forgive my sins, for O Allah, my sins are many
And whatever of my faults becomes apparent, I pray You veil it

​لك بعت روحي ولا به مشكلة لو يطير
جسمي فالاجوا قطع واشلاء متبعثره
To You I have sold my soul, and I care not if my body
Flies through the air as scattered pieces and remains
​
اعوذ بك من هوى الدنيا وموت الضمير
و من التعالي وحب النفس والمفخرة
I seek refuge in You from the worldly whims and the death of conscience
And from arrogance, self-love, and boastfulness
​
انت السميع العليم ، انت الخبير البصير
ارفق بحالي و ما اتعسر عليّ يسره
You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, the All-Aware, the All-Seeing
Be kind to my state, and make easy for me what has become difficult
​
وآطل بعمري لما يرضيك لوهو قصير
وان كنت بعصيك لا عمري طُوِّل قصِّره..!!
Lengthen my life for what pleases You, even if it be short
But if I am to disobey You, then do not prolong my life, but shorten it
​
ونجني يا الاهي من عذاب السعير
بجاه طه النبي و العترة الطاهرة
And save me, my God, from the punishment of the Blazing Fire
By the status of the Prophet Taha and his pure progeny
​
سبحانك الواحد، الفرد، الودود، القدير
القاهر، المنتقم، ذو القوة القاهرة
Glory be to You, the One, the Unique, the Loving, the Powerful
The Subduer, the Avenger, the Possessor of irresistible power
​
انت الغني يا عظيم الشان وانا الفقير
تعطي الغناء من تشاء ومن تشاء تفقره
You are the Self-Sufficient, O Exalted in status, and I am the poor
You grant wealth to whom You will, and whom You will, You impoverish

​يا جاعل الفلك فوق البحر بامرك يسير
ومدبر الشان ماحد غيرك ايدبره
O You who makes the ships sail upon the sea by Your command
The Disposer of all affairs, none besides You disposes them
​
بيدك امور البشر كامل واليك المصير
والملك في الاولة بيدك وفي الآخرة
In Your hand are all human affairs, and to You is the final return
The sovereignty in this life is Yours, and in the Hereafter
​
وعدت بالنصر جندك وانت نعم النصير
و قلت "ولينصرن الله من ينصره"
You promised victory to Your soldiers, and You are the Best Helper
And You said: "And Allah will surely support those who support Him"
