AHS Centaur Real Time Sinking

This is an animation created by Corey Johnson and I to remember the victims of the Australian Hospital Ship Centaur's sinking on the 14th of May 1943.

The project began with simple to heavy research before the modeling could begin. Corey started modeling a basic hull that I used to create a pre-visualization of the sinking in Blender. Once the basic idea of how the animation was finished the final model of the Centaur could be built. Once the model was done, small sections of interiors were built to showcase interior flooding sequences. Lighting was tested and placed on the models and after some test sinking animations were made the final one was animated. It was then rendered in blender and edited.
