BMW Wastegate Rattle Fix - How to Replace the Manifold

The wastegate rattle has been a major problem for many BMW turbo engines. The engine I'm working on today is a BMW N20 twin scroll turbo engine with a pneumatic wastegate actuator. The fix for the wastegate rattle is to replace the manifold with the wastegate altogether. I have tried many other fixed suggested on forums, but none of them actually solved the issue. Putting the spring on the wastegate actuator reduced the rattle by just a tiny fraction and the same goes for the washer fix. At the end, I decided to just replace the manifold and adjust the wastegate actuator which solved the annoying rattle that is so embarrassing when you start your car. I hope this video helps you fix your rattle as well. This can be done for under $200 including parts and special tools needed. It took me about 5-6 hours of work without a lift working casually in my garage.
